Permissions and Location
If you denied Bluetooth or Location during setup, you can turn them back on in your phone settings and return to the app. That is usually all you need to restore device connections and location-based features.
The menu names vary a little by device, but the recovery pattern is the same on both iPhone and Android.
Turn permissions back on
Section titled “Turn permissions back on”- Open your phone settings.
- Find the Shot Insights app entry.
- Turn Bluetooth access back on.
- Turn Location access back on.
- Return to Shot Insights and test the feature again.
When to revisit permissions
Section titled “When to revisit permissions”Come back to this page if:
- A sensor or ShotCaller hub is not showing up
- The app asks for the same permission again
- A feature that depends on your device’s location stops working
