Convert a Guest Profile Into an Account

If you started as a guest, convert that profile into a full account before you change phones or clear the app. This is the safest way to keep your ballistic profiles, sessions, and other saved work.

Do this while you still have access to the original device and the guest profile is open.

Convert your guest profile

1. Open Shot Insights on the device where you used guest mode.
2. Go to the account area in the app.
3. Choose the option to add sign-in details to your current profile.
4. Enter an email and password, or use Apple or Google if offered.
5. Confirm the change, then sign back in if prompted.

What happens after conversion

Your current guest data stays with the newly created account. After that, you can sign in on another device and continue where you left off.

Avoid this common mistake

Do not uninstall the app, clear app data, or switch devices before converting the guest profile. Once the guest profile is gone, recovery may not be an option.
