Create a Simple Profile

A simple profile is the quick manual path. It covers the values most shooters need to get a working solution without opening the full advanced editor.

  4. Set the caliber to 6.5 Creedmoor.
  5. Enter a Bullet Weight of 147 gr.
  6. Leave the drag model on G7 and enter a Ballistic Coefficient of 0.351.
  7. Enter a Muzzle Velocity of 2695 fps.
  8. Set Zero Range to 100 yd.
  9. Set Sight Height to 2.0 in.

  • Ballistic Coefficient: this worked example uses the published G7 value for this load.
  • Muzzle Velocity: use measured data when you have it.
  • Zero Range: even a small mistake here changes every solution.
  • Sight Height: measure from the center of the bore to the center of the optic.
  • Reticle Units: match the app to your scope so your holds make sense.
  • You already know your load data.
  • You want a quick manual setup.
  • You do not need advanced bullet inputs on day one.

When you are ready for more control, continue with Create an Advanced Profile.
